Slumbermonkey Designs

Designer and maker of illustrated jewellery, homewares, stationery and wood gifts full of colour and quirky details. Based in North Dorset Slumbermonkey Designs is inspired by wildlife and countryside, working in a cute little studio in the garden. Positive vibes are also hugely important and many items explore the power of words using motivational and self-care quotes.
With a background in textiles, patterns feature heavily in many pieces and highlight a love of Retro and Mid-Century influences. Fabrics featuring Slumbermonkey's work can be purchased from their shop on Spoonflower's global marketplace.

Maisie Jones Ceramics

Maisie is a local potter based in Dorset. Her work is created using the traditional technique of throwing on the potters wheel. However her modern forms bring a contemporary twist to this art form. Maisie uses both slip and glaze decoration techniques to bring her pieces to life. The work is mostly functional tableware sure to bring some colour and fun to your kitchen and dinner table.

Francesca Mclean Illustration

Francesca creates illustrations and pattern designs inspired by the beautiful patterns and vibrant colours found in nature that surround us. These designs are showcased on products such as cushions, tea-towels, limited edition prints, mugs and greetings cards, all printed in the UK with an eco-friendly ethos. Francesca also creates unique gouache paintings.

Suzanne Ball Jewellery

Suzanne’s life-long love of silversmithing flourished during a much needed break from work and started as a kind of therapy requiring focus and creativity. Suzanne has always had a deep love for wildlife and the outdoors and is privileged to live on the edge of a large area of woodland on a quiet country lane so can’t help but be inspired by the wealth of wildlife in her garden and surrounding woodland.

Happy Homeware

Rosie originally started her business selling personalised items such as sanitiser bottles, pouches and cases. As she started to become more creative she began sourcing new and exciting products which can be personalised as gifts. For Christmas this year ‘Happy Homeware’ will be offering quality engraved cheese and biscuits boards, UV printed Christmas signs and crates, and personalised baubles, which will arrive in plenty of time for Christmas. Rosie also sells unique and cute homeware decor, choosing each piece with the hope that it will brighten someone's day and home. Her homeware decor is usually little gifts that prove to be popular for secret santa and can be purchased and taken away on the day.

Felt by Bex

Bex is a Hampshire based textile artist specialising in 3D needle felting sculpture featuring wildlife and Mini ‘me’ people. Having been felting and teaching professionally since 2012 she is “absolutely addicted!” Her work ranges in size from full size barn owls and hares to miniature people, birds and houses. All pieces are made using carded wool and a single needle. Bex has created a new range of festive head garlands, individual table crackers, glass baubles, unique Christmas decorations as well as eco laundry balls and sculptures. These can be made to order for collection on December 11th, drop Bex a line for more info.

Bex teaches in private lessons, groups, classes, schools and organisations and can also arrange face-time or zoom private lessons if preferred.
