An exhibition of contemporary printmaking

Fisherton Mill is very pleased to present Impress V, the opening exhibition of the 2021 season and the Mill's fifth annual exhibition of contemporary printmaking.

The exhibition showcases the work of talented artists from around the country and will impress visitors with a range of different techniques and subject matter. The exhibition features: limited edition embossed lino and wood cut prints; beautiful hand screen printed textiles; original printed jewellery; one off natural artworks created with experimental printmaking methods combining printmaking, painting and wood carving to produce printed slabs, notebooks, keyrings and notepads; original individually inked prints using collagraphy, linocutting and monoprinting techniques; hand-made and hand printed, deeply layered, colour saturated, slow motion screen prints; lino cut prints inspired by myths, legends and fairy-tales and a range of atmospheric small edition lino cut prints and drypoints inspired by moorland, estuary, light, big skies and the constant movement of nature.

The work on display is inspired by natural habitats, the animal world and life experiences. A truly inspiring celebration of printmaking not to be missed.
