But as the family is unwillingly brought together to celebrate Mum's wedding anniversary (regardless of deceased Dad), revolt is in the air. Middle son Terry gathers the courage to tell mum he is emigrating with his family to Canada and youngest son Tom breaks the news of his impending marriage. Mum fights back with every weapon in her formidable armoury..... will her long ascendancy be broken at last?

Many of you have already purchased one of our lovely cook books and enjoyed making some of Michael’s delicious recipes. We have just had to re-print it, such was the unexpected demand, and so have plenty of copies available should you not yet have one. At £12.95 they make a great gift too! Opportunities at Fisherton Mill - Gallery Café
Cook/waiting person required to work 5 days a week Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 5pm.
This is an exciting opportunity within a fast growing and modern company serving the best quality food, all freshly prepared on the premises. The café serves cakes/tea/coffee etc all day and a lunchtime menu of soup/sandwiches & light meals. Parties & functions are also catered for. The Café is set within Fisherton Mill Gallery, exhibition & studio complex.
The job will involve all aspects of food preparation & kitchen work within the 50 seater café as well as some informal serving work to the public. The position will involve working directly with the Chef proprietor but also alone. The applicant needs to have excellent communication skills, be well presented, able to work to a high standard in the kitchen sometimes unsupervised, be able to work well under pressure & be available for some evening work at parties, dinners & functions.
