Grants' Farm Foods : The Magnificent Seed

Ellie Grant cold presses The Magnificent Seed Extra Virgin Rapeseed Oil on farm on Salisbury Plain. The oil was shortlisted for this year’s Great British Food Awards and also proudly holds a Taste of the West 2020 Silver.

Along with a demonstration rapeseed press (so you can see how the oil is made) and photos showing how the farm grows the rapeseed without using insecticides, Ellie will be bringing rapeseed oil bottles and refill pouches for sale, along with gift pourers and other gifts made locally using her oil.

Pippaluk Crafts

Pip White was born and brought up in Salisbury. It has only been recently that her discovery of needle felting has allowed her to explore her talent in a very unique way. Her use of fibre forms an illusion of watercolour or pastels and allows her to create landscapes and coastal scenes mainly from the south west of England. The pictures are created by repeatedly stabbing wool, yak or silk fibres into a backing felt using a barbed felting needle, producing tactile and subtle impressions of natural landscapes.

Sas & Ink Paperie

Sas and Ink Paperie produce original prints and papercuts, many with a coastal theme inspired by the sea and river scapes where Sarah lives and explores. I often work with admiralty charts which are repurposed into papercuts or form the background for prints.

Silky Saluki Designs is created by local artist, Amelia Burgess and named aptly after her Saluki dog. She creates unique, hand drawn, watercolour and ink designs for a range of cards, tea towels and aprons.

The Spotted Dog - A Tail of Yarn

“I LOVE yarn but I HATE waste, so everything found at ‘The Spotted Dog - A Tail of Yarn’ is sustainably created using my own hand spun yarn”.

Elizabeth Tanner’s unique and characterful yarns are crocheted into multi-way hats and knitted into original design shawls and wraps, as well as appearing in knitting kits. Locally sourced sheep’s wool is also included in her Stick Spinning and Drop Spindle Spinning Kits.
