Have a look below to find out more about each of the makers taking part in the Makers Market on Friday 18th December...
Madeleine spent her childhood enjoying visits to antique markets, both in the UK and abroad, with her mother. Over the decades, a huge collection of rare and beautiful textiles was accumulated. This collection has been the inspiration for Madeleine to start her business. Each piece is either unique or part of a small range. Some of the fabrics are very fragile but Madeleine wanted to find a way of preserving them so their beauty can still be appreciated. It was this need to preserve, quite literally, a piece of history that has helped her to design these pieces.
The range currently includes Christmas decorations, belts, cushions and useful decorative items for the home. See more about Maddy's work here.
