AM Thomas Paintings
Annmarie is a Hampshire based artist working mostly in acrylics, painting abstracts and semi-abstracts. With a background in architecture, abstract painting provides her with the opportunity to break loose from straight lines and regulations. Annmarie’s work is inspired by nature; its resilience, cruelty and relationship with the built environment.
“I usually start painting with an idea, a composition and a colour palette. Once started, I switch to an intuitive process – lines often creep into the conversation but rarely do they have the final say!”
