Rob Hames is a Wiltshire based artist, painter and prolific sketcher, with a strong link to the surrounding landscape, especially that of Salisbury Plain and the rich Aviation heritage of this area.

Rob has recently exhibited at London's Mall Galleries, Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, St. Barbe Gallery in Lymington, and won the drawing award at the Oexmann Art Exhibition at the Wiltshire Museum.

He is thrilled to be presenting this 3rd solo exhibition here at the Fisherton Mill Main Gallery.

"A to Z" is an exploration through Rob's landscape practice, taking in everything from the lettered tank crossing posts to the broad open skies and everything in between.

Working en plein air in oils on tiny wood blocks to giant canvases, Rob invites you to see Salisbury Plain and the local area through his eyes.
