Brush, Kiln & Camera

A group exhibition

21 May - 20 June 2026

Nova Art Guild is a group of artists showing a wide range of work using a wide range of media, comprising two photographers, two painters, a glass artist and a ceramicist.

Lyndsay Keir is a painter who originally studied textile design in both print and knit. Lindsay uses a variety of media; watercolour, acrylic and egg tempera and draws inspiration from flora, fauna and landscape. Sometimes her work has a flurry of gold or silver leaf.

Geraldine McLoughlin is a glass artist using a kiln to cast and fuse glass into intricate and evocative designs. Influences are often the sea and coast and Gerry aims to capture the subtlety and fluidity of both the subject and material.

David Walker has had a long career as a photographer. His colourful photographs document his extensive  global travels concentrating on how street art is always present in our lives, no matter to which culture we belong.

Scarlet Leatham is a photographer who seeks out the patterns that occur in both nature and man made structures. Sometimes her images challenge the viewer and at other times she lets the subjects speak for themselves.

Tamsyn Gregory is a painter and printmaker who aims to capture the joy of nature's beauty, the charm of colourful interiors, the buzz of a busy town and little moments of wonder in everyday life.

Fiona Charter is a ceramicist making hand built ceramic forms based on historic vessels which she paints in detail using underglaze pigments. Nature is a constant source of inspiration and she endeavors to capture the minutiae of plants and insects, shells and birds.
