Based in Wiltshire, Rachel Wilkinson is an experienced tutor in the art of Indian Block Printing and has been sharing her passion for the craft since 2019. During a trip to Northern India, Rachel discovered the craft whilst visiting an artisan workshop in Jaipur and has been hooked ever since. On her return to the UK, Rachel attended formal training with The Indian Block Print Company based in Oxfordshire.

Since then, Rachel has been busy introducing adults and children to the wonderful world of Indian Block Printing through her popular Happy Hāthī Craft workshops. Even if you think you're not artistic, you will definitely find your inner creativity with this fun and simple craft. The Happy Hāthī Craft workshops running at Fisherton Mill include all the materials and equipment to enable you to create something beautiful and unique to you. The block designs are hand-carved in Sheesham wood which comes from sustainably managed sources and is replanted. The carvers are local artisans from Jaipur and are treated and paid fairly.
